01 Information we collect

Account & identity

When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, an email address (which may be an Apple private-relay address). We may store a first name for personalised greetings. We do not receive your Apple ID password.

Subscription & purchase data

When you subscribe via Apple In-App Purchase, we receive purchase and entitlement information from Apple (product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status) so we can unlock paid features. We never receive or store your payment-card details — Apple processes all payments.

Preferences & app data

Settings you provide, such as onboarding preferences (experience level, risk tolerance, preferred timeframe), favourite assets, and notification preferences. If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token to deliver them.

Technical & diagnostic data

Limited technical information such as app version, device type/OS, and crash and error logs, used to keep the Service stable and secure. We use the error-monitoring tool Sentry for this purpose.

What we do NOT collect

• Payment-card numbers
• Exchange API keys or credentials
• Real-money trading or wallet data
• Precise location, contacts, or special-category data

02 How we use your data

• To provide and operate the Service, including signals, market context, and paper-trading features;
• To manage your account, subscriptions, and entitlements;
• To send push notifications you have opted into (e.g. new signals, signal closes);
• To provide support and respond to your enquiries;
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug errors; and
• To improve the Service and comply with our legal obligations.

AI features (such as signal explanations and news sentiment) process market and news content through our AI provider (Anthropic). These features operate on market/news data, not on your personal information.

03 Legal bases (UK/EU users)

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request), legitimate interests (to secure, maintain, and improve the Service), consent (e.g. push notifications and optional analytics, which you can withdraw), and legal obligation where applicable.

04 Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under appropriate safeguards:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase / subscription processing;
• Railway — cloud hosting of our backend and database;
• Anthropic — AI processing of market/news content for explanations and sentiment;
• Sentry — error and crash monitoring.

Market-data providers (e.g. Binance, CoinGecko, Alternative.me, CryptoCompare) supply data to us; we do not send them your personal data. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

05 International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including by the providers above. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision) to protect your data in transit and at rest.

06 Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When you delete your account or it becomes inactive, we delete or anonymise associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

07 Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@bitneuro.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in the Isle of Man, the Information Commissioner; in the UK, the ICO; or your EU national authority).

08 Push notifications

If you opt in, we send push notifications via the Apple Push Notification service. You can turn these off at any time in your device Settings or within the App's alert settings.

09 Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, secure token storage on your device (iOS Keychain), access controls, and PII masking in our logs. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

10 Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11 Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the latest version, and we will notify you of material changes where reasonably practicable.
